BEING GREEN:

Living in Harmony

with Mother Earth

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

BEING GREEN is a worldwide trend encouraging us to recycle, reuse, reduce, buy green, and live more simply.  To help heal the Earth and preserve the planet for future generations, we must re-think and reinvent our lifestyles.

BEING GREEN classes empower participants to acquire healthy life styles for
ourselves, family, community, and Mother Earth.

BEING GREEN is a worldwide trend to recycle, reuse, reduce, buy green, eat healthily and
simply put, to live more simply. It is also much more. The three-week course, held in a supportive circle setting, helps us re-think and reinvent our lifestyles, transforming old habits into Earth-friendly practices that lead to better health and well being.  Each session leads us to shift what once seemed overwhelming or impossible, to feasible practices that are rewarding, enjoyable, and that actually make a difference.

Courses are co-facilitated by Ann Smith and Donna Roberts, co-directors of
Circle Connections.

In this class together, we will:

Experience a sacred circle setting of equality, respect, collaboration, and support, in which change becomes easier and more fun!

Have a safe and comfortable “no-guilt” place to explore and transform consumer-oriented ‘addictions’ and other harmful behaviors into a healthy lifestyle.

Work and play together to make a difference, staying connected after the class for mutual support.

Join us for shared learning using a variety of practical and multi-media resources.  Create your own measures of progress, including alternatives to the gross national product, such as the ‘gross happiness indicator’ and ecological footprint.
