The Common Ground – in the Elloquence of Mahatma Gandhi

There is a wonderful website I want to share with you. It often offers me uplifting inspiration when I most need it. Visit KarmaTube. It is there that I found this amazing video clip that I share with you.

On October 17th, 1931, just days before he would once again be imprisoned, Mahatma Gandhi spoke at London’s Kingsley Hall. It was an address he called “My Spiritual Message,” and remains one of the best surviving sound recordings of his voice. Gandhi opens with: “There is an indefinable mysterious power that pervades everything, I feel it though I do not see it. It is this unseen power which makes itself felt and yet defies all proof, because it is so unlike all that I perceive through my senses. It transcends the senses.”
