May 25th is International Sophia Day, a day of wisdom.
This is also the day we highlight Sophia 2010 World Conference in Sofia, Bulgaria, that will happen one year from now starting on Monday, May 25 and going to May29, 2010.
The statue of Sophia symbolizes Holy Wisdom, the Divine Feminine bringing balance to the Divine Masculine. It was fifteen years ago when I first heard about Sophia at the Re Imagining God conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We chanted “Bless Sophia with the vision, share the wisdom, dwelling deep within”. Sophia is found in the Jewish and Christian holy texts in the book of Wisdom. She has been well hidden and now is fully present in the Journey to Bulgaria and Beyond.
