Happy Birthday to Us

October 7th, 2007

Yep, it was a year ago that Carol, Ann, and I came together with a common intention and similar dreams. Thank you for joining us on our call to imagine and shape the continuation of our journey.

Circle Connections was born out of a unshakable knowing of the power of women and a deep awareness that we are meant to be instrumental in awakening women to the awareness of their authentic selves, foster collaboration through circle connections, shift us into collaborative creativity and leadership, and move us into a congruence and collaboration that will be a true contribution to peace.

The three us tend to dance out on the edge of what is, intending to build a functional and loving bridge for what we want to come next. I guess we are pioneers at heart. We are making every effort to be the change we want to see in the world. Our commitment is to link, connect, envision, act, leap, learn, lean forward, forgive, and stumble as needed along the way. We are open to the process of learning from one another how to embrace excellence rather than expect perfection, seeing our mistakes as a safe opportunity to reshape and reconsider our old ways of thinking.

Lovevolves.

True learning is messy and requires courage, mistakes and humility. Perfection is often a set up for failure that instigates criticism - from self and others. Holding hands with one another, we choose to lean in the direction of our passions and callings, willing to transform and expand who we are as we go. Forgiveness, patience, tolerance and compassion are constant, needed, and appreciated companions on the path of evolution and alchemy.

We so appreciate your willingness to dive in, too, to create a cozy, durable, inviting, and stimulating community where we know we can trust one another as we join hands to celebrate diversity and honor commonalities to bring our dreams into being. This next year Circle Connections will focus on fostering connections and collaboration, offering trainings and information, expanding resources and ideas, and providing on and off line tools and developing a trustworthy community through which we can become empowered and inspired to fully embrace and live our passions, feeling fully alive and supported.

Our blog becomes the access point for us to offer ideas, consider questions, feel supported, and develop ideas together. Please join us in making this the place for which we all long.

Happy Birthday, happy birthday to us!!!
